System Requirements

BG-BASE has relatively minimal hardware and software requirements. Please review the requirements below and check with us before you install any new operating systems, operating system patches, network updates, etc. Failure to do so could result in your system becoming unavailable until the problem is resolved.

All networked copies of BG-BASE require two pieces of additional software as follows:

1) Network User License
Network User Licenses control how many users can be logged in at any one time.

2) Network Products

The Revelation Software Universal Driver ver. 4.7.2 (Linear Hash Service) is needed for all network installations to facilitate multi-user access.

Note: Neither BG-BASE or OpenInsight supports networked users running BG-BASE on a network without the appropriate network products listed above. All workstations must also be assigned a unique network I.D.
